The Lottery are making grants of up to £10k available through their Awards for All pot, and will prioritise non profits responding to Covid-19 community challenges.

Whilst this isn’t unique (Awards for All is one of the main go-to funds for most organisations and projects), they have announced that you can apply to them even if you’ve already had a grant from them. That bit is unique, and should provide much needed income for some of our frontline organisations.

Here’s the criteria:

  • Organisations supporting people who are at high risk from COVID-19
  • Organisations supporting communities most likely to face increased demand and challenges as a direct result of measures to prevent the result of COVID-19
  • Organisations with high potential to support communities with the direct and indirect impact of COVID-19

Applications are online, and if you need support there’s the excellent local Beware of the Bull who have a huge success rate in Awards for All bids. There’s also an online webinar (from Salford-base Community Futures Trust) on Monday to walk you through the application process (£10 donation to a Manchester Foodbank).

If you need more than £10k, there’s the Reaching Communities fund, which is also prioritising the Covid-19 response. More about that here…
