Benenden Health, a healthcare and wellbeing organisation based in York, are opening a new round of their Community Fund for local charities, community groups and organisations in York.
The Fund offers one-off awards of up to £2,000 to support health and wellbeing related activities which aim to improve either physical, mental and emotional health or boost social connections in some way. This round of the Community Fund is open to groups and organisations based in York and the surrounding areas (within a 15 mile radius of York City Centre).
The Brief
Health and wellbeing provider Benenden Health are looking for community projects or programmes to support through one-off funding awards in York and the surrounding areas (within a 15 mile radius of York City Centre).
The amounts awarded will be up to £2,000 to support health and wellbeing related activities which aim to improve either physical, mental and emotional health or boost social connections. The activities and initiatives may also raise awareness of, or promote understanding of mental health, physical health, emotional health and/or wellbeing issues within the community.
Through the Community Fund they hope to raise awareness around mental, physical and emotional health and wellbeing and will also highlight the programmes they support through media coverage.
