Cultural Wellbeing Grants for York organisations

York Cultural Commissioning Group has announced a Cultural Wellbeing Grant that’s open for bids of up to £2,000.

This is available to groups and individuals, for initiatives that will ease loneliness and isolation during the winter months, for residents in the York area, with cultural activities.

Your application will need to demonstrate that you would be carrying out one or more of the following in York:

  • Cultural tasks to improve or increase social contact through the winter months.
  • Cultural tasks to ensure isolation is reduced through cultural engagement.
  • Cultural tasks to improve people’s sense of belonging to a community.
  • Cultural tasks to improve the wellbeing of those who can feel marginalised, eg refugees, people who are homeless, people who are unemployed, people who have mental health issues, D/deaf or disabled people, those from black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) backgrounds, and/ or the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community.

 

There’s a tight deadline for this fund of 15th November, so go quick!
