New Comic Relief Funding Pots Launched
Comic Relief has recently launched some new funding opportunities, including the ‘Safe, Settled, Secure’ funding stream. The initiative will make grants to projects that ‘are using sport to improve the lives of young people without a safe or secure place to live, helping them to gain the skills and resources to lead safe and positive lives’.

Grants will be made for amounts between £100,000 and £500,000 over a period of 2-4 years (i.e. minimum grant £25,000 per year for 4 years). Projects across the UK are eligible, as well as India, South Africa, Brazil or Kenya.

Projects are expected to meet at least one of the following outcomes:
• Children and young people increase and/or sustain their engagement with education
• Children and young people have increased pathways into training or employment
• Children and young people increase life skills
• More children and young people have a safe and supportive network or trusted place to go for advice

Safe, Settled, Secure is open for applications until 14th June. For more information on this fund and/or the other open funding opportunities from Comic Relief, visit their website.
