A new collaborative partnership of Creative Festivals is aiming to turn May 2020 into a month of creativity and culture right across the UK.

With creativity and wellbeing now high on the agenda in policy across culture, health, ageing, social connectedness and communities, the time has never been better to come together to discuss how people can work together to support opportunities for everyone, regardless of who they are or where they are, to participate in culture and creativity.

The three festivals are:

The festivals focus on reaching out to more people, working towards positive futures and looking at mental health in young people, climate change, ageing through the life course, and public health and everyday creativity.

City of York Council wants your involvement. They welcome events and activities that relate to any health, wellbeing or wellness issue or creativity more broadly – these are open and inclusive festivals and they want to showcase whatever you are doing!

They are particularly looking to raise the profile of Creative Wellbeing in York and would encourage anyone who is either has regular cultural wellbeing activities throughout the year or events within the dates specified above to post them through the links provided on the festival sites.

If you post any cultural activity or events, inform LiveWellYork@york.gov.uk and they will do a shout out for you on their latest News and Twitter feed.
