Local charity Move the Masses have teamed up with North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service to offer a big fundraising circuit session on Tuesday 6th November at 6.30pm at Acomb Fire Station, Boroughbridge Rd, York, YO26 5SH
The North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service in York are on a mission to make fire stations a more integrated part of the community. They heard about Move the Masses, the new charity in York offering free pop-up workouts throughout the city, and knew they could help
They offered Move the Masses the large garage space where emergency vehicles are usually housed as a place for community work outs.
On the 6th November, Egg Cameron, founder of Move the Masses, will run a fun, inclusive circuit session, for over 16s, at Acomb Fire Station, Boroughbridge Road at 6.30pm.
The session costs £5 a head with all money raised to be split between Move the Masses and The Firefighter’s Charity.

We are really pleased to be able to support Move the Masses and are delighted to be using our Acomb fire station to host a pop-up fitness session and to invite members of the community to come and improve their fitness.”
Move the Masses gives people of all ages and abilities access to free workouts in their local open spaces. Specifically, those who live in poverty, are older or isolated in society.
