Social Vision has been commissioned by North Yorkshire Council to assess the suitability of a North Yorkshire town to build a social enterprise network from the ground up. To achieve this, we need your help!

Over the next few months we will be surveying social enterprises, social entrepreneurs and influencers in three focus towns – Eastfield, Hipswell and Selby. This is your chance to help shape the future of support for social enterprises in your town, and create a movement that will inspire other towns.

Our proposal is that the town with the most potential will be supported to become a Showcase town, where we will establish a thriving network of social enterprises, creating social and economic benefits to the town. We want to create role models who can inspire others in their community, showcase the amazing innovation locked away in our county’s towns, and create a physical space where social enterprises can collaborate, grow and showcase their products and services to the local community. Our Showcase town will be the inspiration for other towns and cities across the region, and beyond!

We will also be proposing smaller recommendations for North Yorkshire Council to take forward in the two towns that aren’t selected as the Showcase. So your input is really valuable to ensure we can start supporting your organisation.
