Social Vision has recently been offered the opportunity to support start up social businesses in the Tang Hall area of York.

Thanks to support from Tang Hall Big Local and UnLtd, we will be providing a series of masterclasses for six local social entrepreneurs, and aiming to match them up with business mentors to support them on their journey.

Topics covered in the masterclasses will include ‘Embracing Failure’, ‘Emotive communications’, and ‘Staying sane whilst working in isolation’. The purpose of the masterclasses is to fast track participants through the mistakes, networks and learning from our speaker’s decades of experience – giving the entrepreneurs the best possible chance of not just surviving but thriving and making an impact across Tang Hall.

We have already identified and secured some brilliant speakers and mentors, but still have some spaces available. so if you’re a local business / enterprise leader and would like to share your expertise with somebody starting their journey, please get in touch. There is a modest budget to cover your time. For an initial discussion, please contact joe@social-vision.org.uk
