New community project launches

Local businessman and social entrepreneur Neil Tappin, is setting up a new community project, encouraging people to think more socially. We met up with Neil to find out more:

I am really excited and proud to be launching a brand new community interest project with a number of like-minded York business owners to be launched at the beginning of 2018 here in York and the surrounding areas Called Two Hands York.

We aim to be the glue between a lot of the fantastic projects, charities and social enterprises that are already taking place and the SME business owners in the that wish to give back to our community by inspiring and empowering children, long term unemployed people and people from a less fortunate background among many others.

REMEMBER is not always about giving money… you have a massive wealth of knowledge and experience to draw on to make a real difference.

This will be a VOLUNTARY project that will produce a network of businesses. People will only be allowed to join if you pledge to help others where they can.

So look out for more news coming soon on TWO HANDS YORK….. remember you have one hand for helping yourself and one to help others with.

Anyone wishing to hear more about this please contact Neil direct on
