Social Vision has provided Nike training tops and new footballs for the Wigginton Grasshoppers U-12s squad.

Social Vision’s Joe Gardham said:

“I love the fact that Grasshoppers have all ages, genders and abilities – they’re a really inclusive club, where taking part is the key. They have a real ethos of encouraging everybody, regardless of how good they are, to come along, have fun and make new friends. This couldn’t be demonstrated any better than their walking football sessions for the less mobile, and their ambitions to move into disability football. They’re a perfect match for Social Vision!”

Wigginton Grasshoppers U12’s manager, Adam Ryding said:

“Established in 1982, the club has over 300 registered players and is growing year on year. We currently have players representing the club in every age group from under 5’s up to the under 16’s. We also have a team in under 19’s age group as well as the Seniors, who are currently champions of the York Premier Division. The girls section is continuing to grow as we have age groups represented in the under 10’s, 12’s and 13’s. Next year we also be starting teams in the under 8’s and under 11’s.

The under 12’s would like to thank Social Vision for sponsoring the training jackets. Clubs like Wigginton Grasshoppers rely very much on sponsorship in order to ensure that we can provide football to both the local and the wider community.”

The excellent All You Need is Love Photography accompanied us on the day, and took these great pictures of the lads in their new tops. If you’re a parent who’d like a high res version of any image, drop us a line at joe@social-vision.org.uk
