Victim Support North Yorkshire have recently launched a targeted cyber-crime prevention project in York called Stay Safe Online.
The lockdowns over the last year have left everyone more reliant on online services, everything from shopping, banking, ordering a coffee and talking to the GP.
With that there has been a huge rise in the number of online fraud and scams and Victim Support want to help people stay safe whilst going about their everyday lives online.
They have a new Fraud Outreach Worker, Pauline, who will be working on providing preventive advice and support, to everyone and in particular to those who are isolated, at risk, older and vulnerable.
If you would like Pauline to talk to your organisation about our fraud work, please get in touch.
Victim Support are very keen to connect with individuals as well as organisations who may have contact with people who might need this support.
